Nice! I had never heard of that breed but Googled them and they seem like a cool breed! And wow that’s a lot of chickens!!

Nice!! Jersey Giants seem like a cool breed! And that’s totally understandable! Lol I love my barred rock and my orpingtons :) i wanted to try buckeye but didnt this year. But I did add another rock, partridge this time lol
Where are you located? If in southern SC swing by and grab one or two buckeye

We have a good amount of personal chickens but we also provide feed stores and a few local places with chicks. We sell pullets and roosters, have egg lincese to sell eggs to local small business restaurants and donate meat and eggs to local churches for events. Last year we had about 500 chickens run through and about 100 personal kept for eggs and such this year we have a few breeding flocks such as the ayam cemani, lavender orpingtins, buff cochins, barred rocks and Jersey Giants.

Well, not really! He just showed up after obviously escaping an abusive life. He lives the good life now, escorting the rare bear to the edge of the property, keeping an eye on the neighbor's house, and dining on fresh waffles every morning!

Ohhhh okay. I was gonna say, that’d be kinda cool but expensive and what if someone didn’t want a dog LOL but aw that’s awesome! Glad you took him in and gave him a better life :)

Wow! What do you do with 200 chickens?

That’s awesome!! So do you sell them as day olds to the feed stores or do you grow them out a bit first?

Both. We sell day olds but also get calls when they have someone looking. This year we will be doing more spring start and Easter then plan on doing turkeys for Thanksgiving. We did 5 turkeys last year donated 2 sold 2 and enjoyed 1. Always use non GMO organic feed so we know what we are eating. We had ducks last year and maybe venture that way again this year. We couldn't have anything in Jersey so since the move we to SC we jumped in head first lol goats and all
