Spring Granny Square Swap

The squares are in the mail. There are 71 for the swap and 18+yarn, mailed separately, for Writer's students. I admit there was a greedy thought when I realized there were enough for an afghan. I guess I'll make an afghan after I move.

Ha ha ha! I don't blame you one bit!

Can't wait to see them!!!

I just logged in to see if there were any new pictures. I knew it would rain today and thought I'd work on a new square but DD called and asked me to take GD and I did.
We went to the library at the mall and went "zooming through the stores. She in her umbrella stroller. We had a lot of fun. Then I took her out to see the chickens later and she got scared when the roosters crowed and tried to crawl up me. I had a basket with four eggs in it and tried to pick her up and dumped the eggs on the ground. It was funny. I ended up covered in mud.

Hope everyone had as good a day as I did.

I think that I"m going to sitck with the rule "If you feel that you have to ask, you probably already know the answer".
I'll pick up something else and get back to it without the yellow. Maybe I'll make a nice spring-ish 'bankie' for the cat to sleep on out of the other stuff.

I have one long haired cat that likes to sleep at the foot of my bed and sheds hair like crazy all over my comforter. Anyway she has inherited a small scrap crocheted blanket that was made for DD's stuffed animal cat when DD was little.

Ha Ha... I don't blame you either. Once you are moved and settled you'll just have to participate in the next swap and make sure you are also on the receiving end as well.

I tripped over a cat and tossed an 18 pack and a dozen eggs up in the air and on the counters and floor in the kitchen. I was late for work so I had the choice of cleaning the kitchen or changing clothes.. While I was gone the cats did most of the clean up!

Bummer! I hope those weren't eggs being saved for a hatch!

Other than running a few errands, I have spent most of the day staring at my adorable little chicks I just hatched out yesterday. 4 Yokohamas, 2 OEs, 1 EE and a BCM. Although it would have been even more fun with the grandkids... yeah it was a good day!

Seriously, these guys are like the hardest things in the world to put down! Sorry for the pic quality. It was taken with my phone.

I know what you mean. I've got 3 indoor cats. There is a blanket of some sort over the back of every piece of furniture and something on most of the arms too.
....now that I think about it.... my den sorta looks like I've got everything covered in crocheted slip covers.

No the incubator is full and when I candle I expect some will be tossed. I have plenty of chicks. I have someone coming on Monday to buy some Del chicks and that will still leave me 8 in the brooder. I've got three from the broody hen who still has 4 for go. There is no shortage of chicks here.
