Forgot to tell everyone.... Well DH & I went to Rural King to see what chick breeds were coming in next week and the woman that runs the animal sect asked me if I would please take these 2 RIR pullet chicks, b/c one was a puny runt and the other one has deformed toes. She said she didn't have time to nurse them and she knew I'd take good care of them. Yea.... I'm a sucker!!!

You can send them items or you can put together the packs like they do for local shelters and law enforcement agencies.

Yea I was looking at that on the Red Heart site. Sure wish I could find some other hookers so we can start cranking out some stuff for these great charities! Finding the charities is not the problem it's finding help so more donations can be made! Plus it's just fun to crochet together!

Awww.....Thank you Sunny!!!! I don't know what in the world I was thinking saying I would take these chicks. They remember that we took the one eyed duck last yr. I'm such a sucker! They survived the night. Anyway... I've been cruising the hatching egg sect trying to shop around what I want to hatch. I'll pick up some hatchery baby chicks for layers at Rural King next week as well. They have some new shipments coming in on Tue. YAY!!!!
