Spring Granny Square Swap

I love your square, I hadn't had a chance to look through the last couple of days until this morning. They look fantastic, and I wish I could do them myself!

I didnt' get a response to my pic of the square I posted. I don't want to make more if you don't like them. They take some time to make. At least for me. I also plan to make some Yellow roses too.

Anyone have a preference to the color of the last round? Black okay? Brown ? Lighter color green? Those are ugly and I hate them?

Anybody?

If anyone sends colors that aren't exact just send them us! We don't care what color what we get back at all, and I would hate to think some did a couple in a warmer color and have to redo them. We will be sending extras so it would make up the difference.

Ditto here. I figure to go around them all with a black or dark green I have lots of and that will pull them all together. Do you know I still have yarn that I bought for 99 cents a 4 ounce skein? Lord I am old, sigh.

I'm so old the vultures come an sit on the phone wire waiting for me to drop over.

I thought Writer said four of her students are joining. Does that bring us to 19?

I had an e-mail saying I'd gotten a PM, but didn't get one. Did any of you send me one?

We close in ten days. I'm unduly excited. I want to send them off to Betty and Writer ASAP. I'm leaving on a trip March 15th, returning April 1st and moving out of state hopefully April 5th, realistically closer to the 10th. Can you imagine what my room looks like? Sending the squares and using the box for one of the piles on the floor will help.

Thank you Alethea! Those are the squares I did for last year's swap. I am yet to get started for this year's Spring Swap.

I have a list a mile long of promised crochet projects for friends & family. Slowly working my way down the list. I finished some festive dishcloths today to add to my cousin's B-day gift. I'm about to whip up a yellow flowered beanie for one of DD's friends, but they work up fairly quick. I've been working on DD's huge afghan. It's never ending.

You sound extremely busy! Where are you going on your trip? How exciting! Good luck w/ the closing.

Yes it looks like as of now about 19 squares are due. Of course that can change between now and next week's deadline to sign up.

It will be a good opportunity to meditate, read, walk, have quiet time. I'm going to crochet (have to invent the pattern) a pair of slipper socks for someone as a gift while I'm there.

Sounds wonderful! Have a great trip! Oh I just remembered you asked for patterns for the beanies. I didn't use a pattern for the chemo caps but there are lots on the web for free.
