Spring Granny Square Swap

This could get confusing because with all the extra blocks do you not think the postage would be different one way as oppossed to the other way? Or am I just confusing myself?

here are my new blocks~these will all be uniform in color and design ~~~I made with loops and someting imecable yarn 100% acrylic but soft~~~after I get one done it is sealed in the pink rubber container and not taken out. I have 2 done. My avatar is the culprit.

tiki, If you use the flat rate boxes then the price is the same no matter the weight and it will be same no matter where it goes. The med. flat rate box works quite well. I love your blocks. as everyone can see I'm using my new name instead of baustin and on my new computer. For some reason I am getting the posts here so will use my new pc from now on.

Update on incubation....went into lockdown on Saturday and woke up this morning to one new baby chick. Looks good and seems healthy. There is a second pip but no chick yet. I can't see anything new but it's hard to see inside even with a flashlight.

Will be gone tomorrow. I found out my granddaughter that's in the army and at Ft. Irwin, 100 miles from me, can have visitors tomorrow before going out for her 30 day desert warfare training so plan on driving to see her. She is presently based in GA. High winds forecast for tomorrow but that's not going to stop me. my husband got the day off so I won't be traveling alone.

There are some amazing squares pictured these days. I suspect there some gorgeous afghans in the future. I hope you all post pictures.

Thank you for asking about my retreat. I leave in ten days. I don't practice yoga, but do some of the mudras as it seems good to do, same thing with stretching in general. My main exercize is walking and I'll have 115 acres to myself. I hope to cover a lot of territory. It can be boggy in March because the property is at the foot of the Marble Mountains and there is a lot of runoff. If it's too boggy to walk, I'll use the road. It's a beautiful area and quiet this time of year. It is peaceful and, of course, there is always my mind. That's where I see how much I am at peace and how much I have to work on.

Have a great visit Betty. Hope you come home to a bunch of healthy chicks!

Good morning all. I'm slowly getting my blocks together. Hoping to have 2 sets by the deadline. Starting to get real tired of working in purple though. I think the next bunch will be lime green. Here are a few of the 'patterns' that I'm working on.

These squares are nice. I'm glad you're using variegated yarn. I wasn't sure about how variegated yarn would work for squares. When a number of people started making extra squares for the swap, I decided to give all my non-pink squares to the swap and then make extras for Writer's students. I have a skein of pink, lavendar and white yarn which they might like and wasn't sure whether it would work. I started on them and find I like it.
