"Springing in the Chicks" 2016 April Hatch-a-Long Hosted by Mike & Sally

No problem, we'll hopefully get this working ok. Is this a still air or is there a fan in the incubator. Also what are you using for the hygrometer, the one that came with it or something else too?

Some people run the entire incubation without the vent caps, studies have shown that early oxygen deprivation early in incubation and increased oxygen later is beneficial. I would put one vent cap in and see if we can get the humidity to stabilize.

Thanks. I have 2 acurite with humidity and temp and the white basic temp one and the reference one on the Bator. They are all reading the same. 99.5-100 and now humidity is 36% one cap is on now and yes there is a fan in it.

Thanks to everyone for helping with info! Im praying the power doesnt go out. Thunderstorm and hail :fl
