Yesterday Sugar gave me a beautiful strechy trot!!!! She has only done that a couple other times during lessons so the fact that we were able to do it on our own is awesome! Could not resist telling you guys even though this is stars thread. (Maybe I should change the name to Sugar & Star’s Training Adventure?) tell me what you guys think!

Sugar was started under saddle about a month before I got her so she is learning everything for the first time!

I probably will just leave the name the same. But I will start posting updates occasionally on how sugar’s progress is coming along.

So I have a question. Yesterday I notice star rubbing her tail on the fence. What could be causing this? I have recently dewormed her with the last week so I don’t think that is the problem. I would love any knowledge you guys could share with me. Thanks in advance!

I knew a horse who rubbed his butt against the fence every spring no matter how often or well he was groomed. He was just itchy

Oh. Well I hope that is the case with star. She has been doing it occasionally for the past month, but I thought cleaning her really good and the deworming would stop it. Well I guess I will just have to wait and see if it stops on it’s own.
