Start of Angel Wing?

I don’t know if it’s just the feathers growing a weird way or the start of Angel wing? It’s on both sides. They eat Kalmbach Duck and goose food at 18% protein but I mix it with raw oats to get it down to around 16.

How old? It looks like they are a bit old for the beginning of angel wing. The protein content of the feed isn't actually that high. Oats have protein as well. But, angel wing isn't just a nutritional issue it is a genetic issue as well.

They’re 1 1/2 Months old, I have another one who’s wings looked a little bent from hatch but it seemed to have fixed itself

I missed that you said it's on both sides. Can you get a pic from above so that we can see both sides and behind the duck? If it is angel wing, wrapping for a few days would help as it looks mild - "if" its angel wing.

It almost looks like body feathers sticking out. I see that with mine often, especially during a molt. Any chance you can gently hold the wing and span it open and see if the feathers that stick out are attached at the body or wings?

I’ve handling them since they were eggs Lol but for some reason me picking them up and messing with their wings they go into claw mode my arm, sadly the tattoo part, is scratched like crazy

I am no expert and have had to deal with AW on two of our young Drakes, if in doubt, wrap them wings anyway just to make sure. Best of luck.

The wings look tightly tucked to me. So I'm still not sure. I understand what you mean about messing with their wings. Some ducks allow it, some don't

It was a rodeo with our two drakes and took two people to safely wrap their wings without hurting them in the process. They were very squirmish and didn't want to be held. Their wings are perfect today.
