My opinion on the security of purebreds is of course based on my own research and experiences with breeders and breeds in Australia but I'll be the first to say it's not comprehensive. Just an opinion really, formed as most opinions are, through what you have found to be true and believe is true.
WLHs are really poplar around here and more people than not have at least some of them if they have poultry. Isabrowns are the next most popular. Generally these are of course only folks keeping them for eggs, but I've seen some WLHs with such good type that if I didn't dislike the breed I would have kept them, so someone's breeding them carefully.

Most Aussies probably don't know our national anthem, it's forgettable to put it nicely, dreary and almost monotone to put it less nicely. Sometimes I think 'waltzing matilda' was more relevant. We need something new, and our flag needs an update too. Just in my opinion. While I'm not Indigenous nor do I have any Indigenous rellies, (immigrant stock) I do think our flag ought to at the very least be combined with theirs.
I've got a lot of weird interests too, or just widely spaced, lol... It takes a bit of effort to keep track of everything sometimes. Quite busy lately but it's a good thing.

(And in various stages also my hopes of becoming an explosives expert, or a a billionaire stockbroker, or an airline pilot. I have, as you can probably tell, long been afflicted by a lack of any serious long-standing ambitions
