I would worry about a chick getting stuck in the feeder. I don't remember who it was, but someone had a chick get stuck in a PVC feeder and it died.

I have the water fountain on the left. I found a ten pack of the nipples and am going to make some auto water systems for the small coops.

I always us a drip pan from a George Forman grill for the first week for babies. After that they less likely to get stuck in things. I have had one or two die after getting stuck between the eco glow and the brooder wall. There are so many things to watch with them!

What you would end up with is the little bugger going into the clear plastic part peeping it's heart out. I have a feeder in silkie land Chicks can get inside if they are industerious
Some of mine could eat their way out!

I had never had a chick drown until my last hatch. It was hobbled and fell over upside down in the maybe 1/4 inch deep water and drowned. I felt horrible - it was so little water. Had it not been hobbled, it probably would have gotten out.

Mike nice finds! Love the cart and the vice on the worktable.

I ordered the kit too and got it for free! Amazon gave me a $20.00 gift certificate because of the holiday shipping snafu. So when I checked out my balance due was zero!

Kelly! Allowing a lemon pound cake to cool completely is so cruel!
