Stella's Social Club

We are glued to the TV tonight, ah the joys of living in the central plains... This big one touched down in Sand Springs, about 45 minutes northwest of me. We have possible tornado activity about 30 minutes north, too.

ROFL- myself and everyone on facebook just got had- the news site that was circulating that picture just announced it was a fake- apparently you can't see Sand Springs from that particular location in downtown Tulsa. Bet someone at the news place is taking a tongue lashing for that!

THIS one is a real one of today's tornado:

Gotta love living in Tornado Alley.

Be careful! Tornado's scare the crud out of me.

Picked up my granddaughter today and we went to lunch and shopping. We had Mexican food and I had Rellano en Nagado. I have never had it before and it was fantastic! It looked like this except it came with cilantro rice and black beans. OMG I would drive back down to Folsom to eat it again tonight.

Here's the description from the menu:

Relleno en Nogada
One large poblano chiles stuffed with Mexican-Style picadillo beef, carrots, raisins, onions and fruits topped with our walnut cream sauce. Served with cilantro rice and black beans on the side.

Cyn have the same problem tooth had a root canal and crown many years ago, it is very loose. The dr. wants to do a bridge, well teeth are loose on both sides of it - so he wants to do a bridge. Big problem is THIS is a front tooth and can't be hidden.

I had a bad molar crown several years ago, kept getting bad toothaches. Previous dentist wanted to do root canal and re-crown. I could not afford that and the tooth wouldn't show, so I had it out. It was enormous. I can still put a thumb width in the space. Took forever to heal. Now the one behind it has the same problem.- new dentist wants to do root canal and crown. It will probably put me over the insurance limit for the whole year. He wants me to see a specialist for consult first - there goes more bucks. It would be the only back(lower) molar I have.

Have so many gaps from extractions- food gets caught in there and very annoying. I have gone to dentists every 6 mos. all my life and did whatever they told me to do. Must be genetics - my mom had false teeth very early in life - they didn't know then about needing calcium when she was pregnant 3 times. My sister and I both have horrible teeth.
