Sudden ducking death

Was it medicated chick starter? I just read two days ago that ducks are not supposed to eat medicated chick starter because it can poison them. (that freaked me out since I have raised one duck and 3 geese on that prior, but I have finally found some duck starter)

No it was not medicated I’ve never used medicated starter

Following... I am so sorry about your babies. I hope your are able to find the cause. When my goose Silly suddenly dropped dead on me, I ran around screaming and crying just holding her. I could not bear to bury her without knowing what killed her. I took her to the vet for a necropsy and in her intestines was a metal washer that had gotten stuck and blocked and killed her digestive track. She was broody so I did not see any abnormal behavior, just just acted broody.

Sorry it happened..Ducklings can get chilled. I noticed your water container and Ducklings need water deep enough to Dunk heads to continually clean nares. They can also suffer choke. Your bedding is pretty wet too. Could of been botulism if feed or bedding developed spores.

the bedding and the water is like that because i just moved the chickens about 3 hours before and because i spilled some water whal moving the chicks the water is the chick water and she sadly wouldn't drink or eat

i guess just mad at myself and the fact that this is the first time in 5 years that i have had ducklings die and i did everything the same
