Sudden realization

My seven year old cousin is an uncle. He has a 30-something year old sister, who has two sons. one of them is 8 years old. only just realized this when I had a closer look at the family tree...

He isn't alone. My husband's little brother first because an uncle when he was 4 years old. Lil bro has 3 bros and 2 sis from his dad, and his mom he has 2 sisters. One of his sisters from his mom had a baby when she was 15 years old. Now he is an uncle of... lets see... *counting...* *scratching head*... no... go back... *recounting again*...12, soon 13 (Mirangela/Ruben will be 13) neices and nephews and he is only 15 years old. He is also the FAVORITE uncle.

Hubby's other little brother from his mom is 14 years old and he has 11 nieces and nephew (Mirangela/Ruben will be 12).
His mom and his older sister were pregnant at the SAME time. The boys are only a month and a half apart, Nephew is older then Uncle. They are BEST friends.

Big family compared to my side. My mom only had me and my brother. My dad didn't have any other kids but my bro's dad had 3 more. My dad and my brother's dad are actually full blooded brothers. Bro and I are 8 years apart. Bro had his daughter when I was 13 years old, had the 2nd one when I was 15.

so its definitely not uncommon. Just found another one on the family tree...nephew was 7 years older. oo, another two on the other side...theres about 150 people on either side of my family...both were my grandmothers families.

My grandmother had two nieces and one nephew who were 12, 14, and 17 years older than her. One of my coworkers has a year old son and a 7 year old grandchild.
