Sultans!

Wow they are fantastic! The last one looks like its posing hahaha
I took the hobbles off yesterday and so far so good it's walking just the same as the rest.
Here it is with another sitting on hubby after I took the hobbles off its the one with the grumpy face at the back

ooooh they are all so cute I just love them .they have started dust bathing and playing with me. No more problems so far.fingers crossed. "I'm chuffed tay bits" (so happy I'm bursting)

My Sultans are now 14 weeks old and it's very obvious because of the red and well developed comb and wattles of the 2 roosters. I would say it's been obvious since about 9 or 10 weeks old. I think it's difficult to tell from the crest development early on. I do have 2 hens who had very rounded feathering on their crests from the very beginning, but the other 3 hens didn't start having a rounded look to their crest feathering until a couple of weeks ago. Both males have a more spiky look to their crest feathering. Here are some photos.

Thanks glenann. I know I have one cockerel coz he crowed one day when I took one away to clean but they are only 7 weeks now. Yours are looking great ;)
