Well, thank you for doing that but didn't want to cause so much trouble. I just almost had heart failure when I saw that it was still 3 sets....eek! I'm panicking a little...time goes by so fast. Ok, I'm outta here gotta crochet! Have a great night all!

No problem. Like I said it was pretty easy once I figured out how. I had practice since I've been trying to set up some pages for my state thread. Now those pages are turning into a lot of work since folks want to include Breeder pages, feed stores, members (well that one's done) and events. It'll be an awesome resource once it's done though.

Yes time slides by too too fast these days!

Stayed up extra late and got my final square finished!!!!!

Now I will just finish up tiding the strings and packaging.

Just checking in. My, my.... how time is just zipping right by so quickly. I really need to get back to hookin'. I've been reading at night instead of crocheting.

I've been sooooo busy cleaning my house for the last 3 days and still not finished. Dh's uncle arrived this morning from New York and will stay with us until Oct 1st.

Dh's best friend will get in from Atlanta sometime this evening to stay over night before he heads to Springfield to visit a friend w/ cancer. He'll stop back back to spend some time w/ us this weekend.

Anyway my house was mucked up and needed de-furring! 3 inside/outside dogs and 2 inside cats will do that in such a short time. I think they all need a trip to the groomers for the shead-less type treatment.

I need to count my swaps. I think now I only need to do 15 more towards my second set now.

So if I get one done a day I can be done!

I'm so jealous of all of you that are finished and ready to ship them out. Way to go Betty & Kassaundra!!!

Sunny~ Thanks for sharing your new books. I've been eye balling the Around the Corner Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman. I need some edging pattern books. I've also been wanting The Granny Square Book by Margaret Hubert. I don't know the others off hand, but they sound soooo interesting, esp. 75 Birds, Butterflies & little beasts to knit and crochet by Lesley Stanfield. I can't wait to look them up. YAY!!!! How exciting!!!!

Kassaundra~ love the cushions you made for your neice. Great job!!!! I'm sure your niece will appreciate the comfort.

Ok I still have clean sheets to put on one of the guest beds. I still see dust I didn't get to yesterday in the living room. Ugggggg! I'm pooped! I just want to sit and crochet.

Kim I just love that one! I wish I had time to get into it more right now but I don't have much time left for learning new patterns. I have 3 rectangles left to do and eleven 12" squares left. Well not really since I have quite a few middles done for the 12 inchers but the time consuming parts are the appliques on the front so after spending a whole day on just 2 new appliques from the book I realized I was running out of time and better play with the new patterns after I'm done with swap squares. Have fun with your company. Hope all goes well. Get some rest! In my experience company is never worried about the one spot you forgot to dust!

I have discovered I am an idiot. I've been telling myself I can finish up during our week off for Fall Break,,,, that is the first week of October! So instead of doing the harder ones I've been attempting I'll be doing my regular old basic ones darn it. This school year is kicking my rear with 28 students in my class.

I thought you guys who aren't on Facebook might like to see the story about Cindi's situation. She's been active on BYC for a long time and I just feel horrible for her. I've been pushing her links and story to all the news agencies trying to get help for her.

It is so maddening to me that Bank of America that we have Trust through will not allow us to post the name of Trust! Only news agencies can do that and while they will run the story they haven't run the name of the Trust. We can give it to anyone who asks, but how do they to ask? If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. I know we have a very diverse group here!

I came across a pattern thread here on byc, it is an old one but was wandering some of the links and oh my that could be dangerous. I saw several cool ideas for crocheting. But then I happened upon a quilting pattern site, and I have been fascinated for the last few years about crocheting blocks that appear like quilts. I have putzed around w/ it for several years and came up w/ a few patterns, anyway I happened across a quilt pattern that I thought might make a cool crochet block and think I figured it out, so now I have a new block idea and no new swap!
