Pics?I set 30, 10 made it to lockdown and there are 2 out right now. 1 houdan, 1 araucana. The one araucana was the only one to make it to lockdown, I have a couple of NN's that are pipping and zipping, one houdan that I think still has a shot, the two that are out are playing catch w/ the eggs that are trying to hatch. lol
Oh jeez Cathy! I sure hope everything goes well for them both!!! We will keep you and your family in our thoughts for sure. Congrats on new baby chicks too!Well good for you! I am also experiencing my first hatch! Eggsiting! I had one hatch yesterday and a few more should by Wednesday. I have a broody who has eggs with varying hatch dates, hopefully she will sit long enough to hatch them since theres only a few days difference.
I didnt get any crocheting done today. My daughter is 7 months pregnant and had an ultrasound this morning. The doc called her and told her to get to the hospital asap. Her amniotic fluid is very very low. They sent her by ambulance to a larger more equipped hospital and they have admitted her. They are giving her steroids to help the baby's lungs develop quicker because they might deliver her soon! She's 3lbs.14oz. So, I have her 2 boys, ages 3 & 5. Am praying all will go well and everyone healthy!! Am waiting on pins and needles to hear what they plan on doing. My grandsons miss her terribly especially the youngest, he's a mama's boy for sure. Please pray for her, I would appreciate it.
Well, I'm gonna get to bed, I'm sure tomorrow will be busy! Will check in again when I get a minute! Have a great night!

I've been side tracked w/ my very first hatching.
On Mahonri's Easter hatch-a-thon last spring we got in the habit of doing that but some folks got tired of typing out the whole phrase so they started posting just an X. I got bored of that quickly so I started posting pictures of Xs and lots of others joined in. You won't believe how many pictures of Xs there are on the web! Quite varied too.congrats.

Here they are my newest chicks!!!!!! I'm so excited.
Cathy how is your daughter doing?
Wow when I hear things like that it makes me shudder! She's vomiting and her other doc doesn't bother to check for dehydration? How huge of a no-brainer is that? Even for a layperson that's a pretty big Duh!She is doing better. Her fluid levels have come up into normal range now. Poor kid, she has been so sick with this pregnancy. Her doctor has just shrugged off the nausea and vomiiting but the new doc told her that she has been dehydrated for a long time. So they are addressing that and an antinausea med and heartburn meds. She is having another ultrasound in the morning. If it show the fluid is still normal then she will come home! I have my grandsons and they miss mom awful! Thanks for asking!
