Smitty-I don't think my bedspread/afghan is a standard size. Most afghans I've seen or made are smaller. This one (from the last swap) was made big enough to use as a bedspread for a single bed.

I do need to get new pic of them. I just love the way the lavender orps look. They are so pale! Good luck getting some takers for the extra roos and chicks.Hi everyone!![]()
I've been trying to pop on and read the thread every day, but haven't had time to post. Working hard to finish all the last min pesky details to get our new business open. I get things done at the house and then go work on the new business most nights. Plus we have DH's 80 yr old uncle visiting us, so making quality time for him as well.
I've just been busy busy busy. I picked DD up from college on Sat evening for us to meet some friends for a concert in St. Louis. DD came home to spend the night on Sat night so she could visit w/ her great Uncle and also DH's best friend from school was also visiting. We had other friends come over for dinner Sun night and then DH's uncle & I drove her back to the dorm later Sun night.
I have not connected any swap squares from any of the swaps I've participated in on here. In the past I just couldn't decide if I wanted to join all of them to make a big hodgepodge afghan or make more of the same color scheme to make a more uniformed one.
Sunny~ Post some pics of your new Lav beauties when you get a chance. I finally broke down and listed the evil Cuckoo Maran roo, 2 silkie cockerels & 5 baby chicks for sale on Craig'slist. I'm going to post them at Rural King as well. The competitive crowing is driving us all crazy.

Almost Friday!!! I hope everyone has a fantastic day~
Oh my! That is just beautiful!!! I wish I could knit but when I tried to learn I spent just as much time frogging as I did knitting. Someday maybe, when we retire and aren't so busy.
That's fantastic! Thanks for the info anyway. Not sure how big I will make mine yet, but I do like my blankets big & snuggly.Smitty-I don't think my bedspread/afghan is a standard size.
