Good for you!!! I am working on my swaps right now, but know I won't get finished tonight. I'm still working on the started 12" that was posted in my last pic. I made a mistake, but caught it, so I only had to rip out a few rounds. I may try the rectangle pattern next again after I finish this 12". I'm running very low on the perfect plum and cranberry, so I'll just have to make do with what I have tonight until I can get to the store.

Yea... no takers yet from Craig's List. Doesn't surprise me. I still need to post them in the feed stores. WOW!!! You are super busy!!! I forgot that it is the walk this weekend. That's fantastic that so many family members are coming in to support the cause. Good luck to your DH's speech and the walk. I hope there is a great turn out. Enjoy your family!
Thanks Kim!

Rancher-That is beautiful

Everyone-A new swap is being conceived. Sebcoat has offerd to host. You might want to look at Fall Granny Square Swap???
Thanks for the link.
TGIF! I will actually have time to finish up this weekend, whew!
Yea!
Here's a pic of my 20 finished 6" squares.

Finished 12" squares.

Number 6 started 12" square square along with what is left of my wimpy
perfect plum. I need to purchase some more. I love that color! Cranberry is
getting slightly wimpy as well. LOL!

Wow I love the color combos!!! I never would of thought to use the plum next to the green but I love that combo with the cafe latte!

I have baggies on hand, but need to make my tags. Oh yea.... AND finish crocheting too!

LOL! Yea that's me too. I have 4 of the 12" left to do and 2 of the rectangles left. The applique part still seems to take me forever! I didn't stick to one pattern for them all though. That was my mistake. I like the butterflies, the flowers and the hearts though! It's too tough to decide on only one. Plus I've used 3 butterfly patterns, and haven't repeated a flower pattern yet. haha I don't think I'll do this again. It's much easier to stick with one pattern!
I hope to finish tonight and get to the post office tomorrow.
Awesome!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Lealonna has dropped out of the swap. She says she is quitting BYC altogether (I didn't ask why) and has to drop out for other reasons as well.

This makes it a little tough for those of you that have finished your squares already and shipped. I can either send your extra square back to you or distribute the extras evenly between the participants who also sent in extras. Your choice.

This kind of thing always happens at some point in a swap it seems. It's just unfortunate that we did not know sooner. She apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Oh I'm so sorry that Leolonna has to not only drop out of the swap, but also from BYC. I know Senior year can be extremely busy. Maybe she can re-join BYC later after things settle down. She will be missed!

I'm sorry Lealonna had to drop out.

Sunny ~ For the squares I've already sent, just do whatever works best. How did the walk go?

Cathy ~ How is your daughter doing?

I'm sorry Lealonna had to drop out and am offering merit to her and her family. When I left Eugene and my life with chickens, I considered dropping out of BYC. I decided not to, because that was when you all were discussing environmental concerns and I wanted to be with the environmentally concerned, crocheting, chicken-loving people here.

Since I'm a donor-only, my squares can be distributed as is good. Sunny's the mathematician and I could be wrong, but I think it will all work out.

I'll just split up the extra squares between those that ship the full 19 squares.
The walk is this next Saturday Beth. I am getting very nervous! So hoping they don't get me on camera when they are interviewing DH. Unless I can hide behind him like I did in our avatar pic. haha Our Tour Guide took that pic of us in Ecuador but after being rail thin most of my life I still can't get used to the "fluffier" grandma figure that keeps showing up on film these days.

Sunny-Does my memory serve me correctly that before you had the avatar hiding behind your husband, you had one hiding behind a German Shepherd? Is there a pattern here?
