How did you do the edging on the hat? It's so cute. I love your festive hand towels & dishcloths as well!

They are pretty did you block them already? They are so square and perfect.

I finished the embroider work on the small squares today. So they are complete.
Thank you. Nope not blocked yet. I just use a pretty small hook and the tighter stitches hold the square shape pretty well.
YAY!!!

Love you squares!!!! Awwwwwwwww!!! Sweet lil peachick peeps are cute!!! That is so cute that they have blue eyes. Will they stay blue? Thank you so much for posting pics!
Yep they will stay blue. Only the white peafowl have blue eyes. Something to do with so much less melanin. :)
I'd love to see them bigger, but you've done yeoman's work getting them posted and I don't want to put you through that again. I'm grateful to see them at all.
Since I've finally figured out how to get them to post, and I already have them saved in different sizes it is no big deal. Here ya go.

For some reason they are cutting off the edges of the pics when they post here. Not sure why...

I'm not home right now so can't get pics of the rest of them but will post them soon. :)
The photos are great. Love the dishcloths. I love the blocks also. I've never seen white peacocks before. They are so cute. Would like to have some but would have to build another pen.

Have news! I received a call a few days ago from a friend I used to work with. She said her neighbor had German Shepherd puppies for sale. The mom and dad were on site. My duahgter and I drove 2 hours to see them and I came home with a female that was born June 1. She is black and tan and already weighs 19lbs. I will post pix as soon as I find the time to take some. I named her Sadie and at this point she has one ear up and one down. She goes to the vets tomorrow to start her shots since the guy hadn't started them. So now I have 6 dogs in the house but the big ones are babying Sadie. Harley washes her ears. The big dogs took right to her and she to them. She doesn't act afraid of anything. She looks at my chickens and walks away. She never cried the first night and sleeps at the side of my bed. Yesterday she took her afternoon nap curled up with Nanook, my daughters Rhodesian Ridgeback. She even likes riding in the car and I have her already leash trained as far as walking with it and not fighting it. I have to hide shoes though and my crocheting. When we travel my daughter will care for her.
Soooo cool! My GSD just had 6 puppies yesterday. We have been trying for ages and I finally gave up hope but we finally have puppies!

Betty-Congratulations on your new doggie. I wish you many years of loving friendship together.

I finished the flowers for the hat. Unfortunately, they are too much for the delicicate little hat. I'll put one on as an accent, and the other six will go into storage for some future project. Have we ever had a flower swap?
OK that sounds like a ton of fun too!
Guys, I know it's really late to be dropping out. And I really really don't want to, but I have no choice :-( I ran out of yarn and Wal*Mart no longer carries that colour. I can't order it online and the closest craft stores are far away so I know I won't be getting to them before the deadline.
Also, I'm starting my last year of school tomorrow, so I won't have much time to crochet between school, chickens, archery practice, goats, etc.
I'm really sorry, I was going to try very hard to finish this time :-(
Okay. I also have some other yarn that isn't a colour on the list but it would match very nicely, so if it's okay with Sunny I could use that and try to make a whole set.
Hey do what you need to do. Sounds like between you and Alethea you two will work it out. I also have extra yarn if you want to go that route or if anyone else needs more yarn.

Well, my blocks are ................................ shall we say .................................. looser, and squarish. lol Slightly on the hippy dippy side of life.

I've been working on the 6 x 12 ringed blocks and tried a new color variety, I found the sparkly vanilla color whichever the light vanna white one was, anyway I put it in place of the cafe latte and I really like how it brightens the block up. I'm at work, but will post some pics when I get home and get a chance.

Sunny~ Love love love your squares!!!!

I haven't crocheted on the swaps lately. We moved my DD into her college dorm on Thur afternoon. We were at the college for New Student Orientation all day on Fri and most the day today. The college does a great job on making the transition as smooth as possible for everyone. Tonight I've been working on DD's ever growing afghan.

I think the finishing row was a slip stitch, ch 2, and slip stitch in every other stitch. Alternate stitches were just a slip stitch. I hope that helps.
