Hahaha! Sounds like me during the last swaps. It is easy to get side tracked when you are looking at crochet websites on-line. Not having that problem so much this time due to a horrible connection speed that doesn't let me "surf" very well.I'm still plugging along, but am easily side tracked, and I just accidentally found a patten for crocheting the quilted tumbling block pattern. Well I had found patterns before but none I really liked or that were very easy, this one is based on granny square and after I made a few alteration I think I like it, but putzing w/ that not very square, square isn't going to get my exchange blocks done now is it!!!!!! lol lol lol
Thanks Betty. I am almost halfway done now. Thought I'd get a lot done while healing but the meds make me so sleepy I end up just falling asleep. Today is a little better so I guess I just need to learn a little patience and let my body heal.Good morning everyone. I haven't posted for a few days as I'm in and out as I expected to be. The kids house is still in limbo. Papers are signed, waiting for the appraisal to come in and close escrow, etc. So my house is still full. The puppy is doing fine. She runs with the pack and has learned who the leader is. She'll miss them when they go and if they leave before we go on vacation then she'll be back with them for two weeks.
I've been trying to work on a baby blanket for my first GGC that is due in Jan. but ran out of yarn and had to order online as I couldn't find it in my travels. I had it half done when my DD in L lost the baby but another is on the way so want to finish it. Other than that I'm not doing much else. I have my double set of squares finished so can mail them anytimne now.
I hope the ear infection clears up soon. They're not fun. I hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend. I think I'm staying put until Tuesday so hope to relax a bit.

Hope your DD and SIL get the house that's right for them, having a full house when you aren't used to it can be challenging. Congrats on the new GGC! Sorry for the loss as well. My oldest DD

Just found out last week our school didn't get the 21st Century Grant, that means a much smaller club this year because of no buses for them. Only the kids whose parents can pick them up can stay after school. We started 2 weeks ago, and only have 6 active right now due to transportation issues,.
