Hello there,

We are based in Germany and recently purchased three unsexed Sundheimer chicks. I am not sure if anyone has any knowledge of them but I thought I would start a thread to ask for help sexing them in the weeks to come.

Here are their cute fuzzy 2 week old self for now and will update as they change...

Thanks guys! No worries, I am aware they are too young, but thought I would start the thread now to keep a record of events. Plus anyone with similar chickens might be interested in the future.

I've never heard of this breed before, so I looked them up. They look like light Sussex with feathered legs. I'm surprised Greenfire hasn't imported stock to the U.S. yet because I am sure they'd find a following here.

I believe it's the feathery legs and slightly larger tail plumage that separates them from the Sussex!

Plus white ears.

Plus white ears, I think. Though, totally new to this!
