Hello there,

We are based in Germany and recently purchased three unsexed Sundheimer chicks. I am not sure if anyone has any knowledge of them but I thought I would start a thread to ask for help sexing them in the weeks to come.

Here are their cute fuzzy 2 week old self for now and will update as they change...

@truecloud Sundheimers are truly a rare breed and glad to see you have chosen to get them. I love to see rare breeds continue to stir interest! Sundheimer does look very much like the Brahma except that Sundheimers are in Colombian variety only. Do you have more photos of them? Beautiful bird which my climate unfortunately is not good for -- we are way too humid a climate for heavier breeds or overly fluffy breeds.

A feather-legged breed I found good for my climate is the rare Breda which averages under 5 lbs for hens, comes in several varieties, has no-comb, has vulture hocks, and feather legs/toes. A very calm and family-friendly breed.
