Sunflower Chickens

Took me a long time to decide who to keep and who to sell. I've done it in two major sell offs.....one about a year ago (I think, I can't remember for sure) and then again last fall when I had my eye problems. Once they were gone it was almost a relief. I will say I'm enjoying my birds that I kept a lot again.....it had gotten to where it wasn't that much fun anymore.

I think they're so busy fanning their tails they may not!!

We'll need to get Nana and all the others here...

Just found you guys - I was kind of avoiding for a bit. As was said before ... THANKS RENEE!!

Well one of my Orp chicks died today. I had 5 (I think) hatch from the last of the eggs I had from my flock that was killed.

I am not sure what happened. My son had gotten in the coop with them, but all the chicks seemed fine when I got him out. But when I checked later it was dead. It was been brooded by a hen, and she has gotten 2 chicks twisted in her feathers, one did not survive.

Hi, Nana! Glad you found us!

Taz, I'm sooooooo sorry! I can offer orps, but they're not English. They are nice, though. You're just going to have to come shopping, I think!

We love the company, but it's about chickens on this thread, so there will be talk of CHICKENS, feed, selling, diseases, etc. That's what this thread is for. Social club can be over there. Everyone can be happy that way.
