Good find... Hope it works out for ya! Wish we were gettin rain today...

Amen to that! If it must be grey and dreary, it might as well water the flowers and crops, right!?

Sheesh.

Katy, are you getting any of this rain?

Hello hello!! Finally remembered to ask the name of this thread. I have been so distracted lately. ~sigh~

Baby ducks are so hilarious to watch! I got 7 Friday and they're doing great. I'll be checking out Orscheln Tuesday to see what else they got in. I kinda hope they don't have anything else I think I must have. Ü

Sheesh.

Exactly... Our flowerbeds and grass could use it too, and I could stand to save the money on my water bill

Atleast I didn't have to lock the chicks up today!

A neighbor brought us 4 chickens after she decided they weren't for her (it was a convoluted story involving kids and the local TSC) but these chicks are only 6-7 weeks old and are larger than my adult Aussies. I was told they are "Cornish Rock Cross." They are way to big to still need to be under a light but still aren't fully feathered!
Anybody know when this type of chicken "grows up?"

Thanks,
pyrazen

Family of 3 people, 4 Nigerian Dwarf goats, 8 Black Australorp hens, 3 Partridge Rocks, and 4 giant chicks. and hopefully soon a Black Aussie rooster
