Something must've eaten him during the night, y'all that's 2 days in a row . I still have the 3 hatchlings in garage but I can't believe the broody hatchling is gone. He looked soooo healthy, too.

I'm afraid to bring the ducklings into that outside enclosure now after all that.

I am so sorry to hear this too and if she hatches out anymore I would be sure to bring them inside until you can figure out a safer enclosure for them. It's so hard to lose them. I pray you can find a solution to your setup for them.

Figgy is starting to grow her first feathers today! They started growing their pin feathers at exactly 2 weeks old and today they are exactly three weeks old. Her feathers are coming in a red brown to tan color, and they are on her shoulders and bottom tail feathers.
Here are 2 pictures of her from yesterday, the pin feathers literally just opened up today! I’ll show you the pictures later when I take their daily pics.
