I wish it only got to 17F hereWell, I live in Europe, so we use Celsius over here. That being said, it never gets below 17F (thank you google) over here, so I'd guess it's a big difference

That's both heartwarming and terrifying.Oh I have a great story. So as many of you know my pekin Munchkin has bumblefoot for over a year. I treated her almost every single day for MONTHS on end. Well at the time my ducks were free range, and so when I scooped up Munchkin for treatment, her mate Cletus usually followed us to the barn. He would keep his distance but still followed and stood outside the door waiting for me to stop “harassing her”. Well a few times he got very upset when Munchkin decided to fight back, and he would tear off back towards the coop. I at first didn’t think anything of this, I just thought he got terrified that I was killing her or something and couldn’t stand watching. I was wrong. Within like thirty seconds Cletus had rounded up the other ten ducks, and came running/flapping in a giant flapping quacking mass of ducks. They all hurled at me and I surely thought were going to attack. But thankfully they just marched around me in circles. I couldn’t believe it! My ducks were MARCHING and PROTESTING! I quickly finished wrapping Munchkin and set her down and together they all went off quacking, squacking, and waddling back to the coop. Cletus is a real champ and becomes extremely distressed without his girl. When Munchkin had to stay overnight at the vet after surgery he refused to go to bed and stood outside pacing and calling for her for hours. I don’t blame him for wanting to protect his girl, it’s his instinct to protect her. I love my ducks. They are just hilarious![]()
