Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

Grapes are too expensive to give to my ducks. I very rarely buy them as it is for my kids. We give them worms and grubs and little fishes we find in the Creek.
I assume you mean the ducks...not... the kids.... I may have read that wrong-

I'm sure they're more than happy with those tasty grubs! Sprightly is personally afraid of worms, but they loves dried calci worms!

I will accept this only after converting at least one person to aseel. I will celebrate by getting ducks (don't quote me on that)

I would love to have a few Aseel, but it gets subzero where I live in the winter.

I just give my birds old wrinkly grapes that we don’t want to eat anymore. Last year we had just moved in and didn’t have time to do anything with the grape vines that were out there so everyday I’d stop on my way to the coop and pick a bowl.

Ok that’s honestly hilarious that she’s afraid of worms!

My duck abuse story happened last summer. I went out to pick some rose hips and petals off of my very large rose bush. All of a sudden my feet were being attacked by a duck. It turns out Sheila decided to go broody that day on a nest she had been hiding under there. She was even angrier when I had to cut apart my rose bush to get her out because it is so thick and wide I couldn’t get her out that night to put her to bed.

I hang tarps around their pens and they do great. That being said, my sub zero is very different from yours, plus even when it's really cold, we barely get snow
How cold does it get where you are? I’ve always heard they don’t do well in the cold so I assumed anywhere it got subzero would be a no go for them, but if it’s possible….
