Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

I tell her no, but its not only the birds butt, she acts like she is their mom.
Jasper tries to mother *everyone*... Including my 13 year old cat, whom spent most of his life with out dogs, and doesn't enjoy Jasper's affections.
Tbf, the dogs don't have the ability to differentiate species, so they don't understand the licking my cats/birds upsets them. It's a long road of training at my house.

Y'all I am so tired, I can't catch up. Just spent another full day working with the ducks, finished brooder and set my first duckling that hatched at 2:30am in! Watched another duck hatch, got my outdoor brooder ready for the broodies' ducklings, and a bunch of other odds and ends. I'll send pics if I ever finish catching up on my notifications 😂

My goodness that sounds like fun! That's right don't let him beat you ;). Sounds like you had a busy day, too. How did everything go?
I made out pretty good
But I’m under the weather a little
Moving slowly at the moment but stil getting things done

Aw, take it easy then. Don't be an overachiever 😂
I try not to but sometimes we gotta push through
When the dictators start yelling cause the food bowl is empty or they are ready for bed and mom has not cleaned the pen
They will chatter and talk smack about me till I get it done 😂

I have chicks in the brooder in my bedroom, and made my poor husband wait to take a nap so I could fill up the water feeder.
... Animals don't take days off. Good job on being a fowl mom for your ducks! I know it can be hard!
Sorry, my phone corrected that badly.

My hubby slept on the couch when I was hatching cause I had the bator and babies in our room 😂

One of my babies pipped I think on Thursday, still isn't out. Yesterday it looked more like he was still absorbing his yolk but today it seems like he's trying to hatch but can't. Could be shrink wrap or is just stuck from something else. I'll have to attempt an assist. Baby with bruise didn't make it :(.
