Bielefelder are the same pattern as CCL except CCL also have the cream gene.
And Bielefelders have single combs, just like Crested Cream Legbars do. So if we're trying to figure out what cross, we still have to account for the comb.

Making more sense now. I can follow that more than some of the other statements. And Bielefelders have single combs, just like Crested Cream Legbars do. So if we're trying to figure out what cross, we still have to account for the comb.
I apologize, it’s been a crazy week! I wasn’t able to keep them still long enough to snap a photo together. The colors are similar, but not exact, I’m not sure if it’s because the cream legbar cockerel has sort of a barring pattern and it just appears different or not. I’m not worried about him being mixed, however, so it’s all well and fine no matter what. The legbar? He’s got some whitish gray on him, but it’s only a slight gray tint. We have lavender orpingtons, I can try to get a photo of him with one of them tomorrow if they will stay still long enough, I’m not sure how obvious the difference will be in photos but there’s definitely a difference in person.
