one of our chickens just died, she was about 10 months old, and she was perfectly healthy until today. she just sat, not moving for almost 3 hours and when we picked her up we realized her crop was bloated and heavy. we thought she had just eaten a lot so we put her back into the coop and we went back to check in on her about 30 minutes later and she was dead. If she was sick, i really dont want our 4 other chicks to get sick. Anybody have ideas on how she may have died to prevent it from happening again and to make sure that if she had eaten something bad the others dont get sick? thanks in advance.
