Did you ever get any baby bird food earlier for tube feeding? I think that may be easier to feed. Most Walmarts and pet-stores carry it. I think people use food precessors or even blenders to grind up chicken feed. But a lot of water should be added, and the closer to the time of feeding that you add the water, the better. Mushy chicken feed will thicken as it sits, and more water should be added. So, I would not add water if you grind up some feed, until you are going to tube it.

I have only used the yogurt and raw egg in small tubes, not the foods used for long term. A larger bore feeding tube would be better for feeding thickened feed. Those are found online. @casportpony has a few threads with lots of info.

I agree with using baby bird formula if you can get some. I have also heard that using a stick blender on soaked crumble or pellets work. Actually I think it was casportpony who taught me that.

If you’re trying to get protein into her, have you tried finely cut meat? Maybe purée some cooked beef liver in the blender along with the feed?

She just ate a tiny bit more mash but as she is eating, I can hear gurgling noises inside her. Like yeast bubbling. Is that a bad thing?

I have baby bird food but stopped with it because it contains Brewers Yeast and was worried that would worsen the issue. I ordered Oxbow Critical Care Herbivore (could not find Omnivore) and it's suppose to arrive tonight

She's getting mainly eggs, which is protein. Should she be eating mostly on her own by now?
Silly me. I wasn't even thinking about the eggs. I think I'm juggling too many posts and got my wires crossed.

I don't know if she should be eating on her own yet. That might be a question for her vet.

Her poop looks like this now?!

What is this?
