Well big chill tonight . High of 61 today with 30 mph wind . Low of 20 predicted . Not really pleasant outside but I did plant my 50 seedling trees today .

I just had about a dozen male red wing blackbirds at me feeders,,,,
I bet they are wishing they had stayed down south a few weeks longer.....and there is a good chance when the females get up here, they will find their mates dead frozen in a snowdrift....

I bet BC will be the only one in Cass county with prickly heat . She has us all beat picking citrus . I have squill blooming and daffodils are ready to open blooms . Might take awhile with this cold coming .

Sorry, that feather causes her to become a cull. Unless, it accidentally falls out and comes back in dark.

It was more than 8 in rural Sauk Rapids.....my 8 inch boots didn’t do their job today. Called home to my family in Richmond(1 hour away) asking if we should come plow and they laughed at me. All out belly roll laugh. They got 1 1/2 inches. So of course I asked which end of the ruler were they measuring from......
