Not a bad amount of milk from just the front 2 quarters. Those are gallon sized jars. Lady is only on grass hay and a handful of corn after milking.

Zeus update! He is doing great!! No scab and all his feathers are coming back in. He isnt ready to go back though. I brought him to the coop and Mr. T and Bubba starting beating him. I think he will stay out in the hay shed till the day he dies. He freeranges all day around the cows.

Poor Zeus, I'm happy to hear he's getting better though.

I love hybrids! Have you tried craigslist? I would think a free, cute bantam rooster will go pretty quick.

So Prince was found dead today in his Minneapolis suburban house. Wasn't it just this past week that they had to do an emergency landing somewhere because he had the flu and they had to go to a hospital to check him out?

Uh oh, another musician I never heard of till he died.

I love hybrids! Have you tried craigslist? I would think a free, cute bantam rooster will go pretty quick.

There are a lot of bantam roosters for sale/free on Craigslist. No one wants them. I think I'll give him away with my hens that I'm selling soon, I have to wait until he's old enough they don't pick on him.

I was told they were thinking it was an overdose. Whether thats true or not I dont know.

I don't think he was a drinker or did drugs.

Worked on the tractor today . Minor issue that took way too much time to fix . Had to take the linkage to the three point apart . Hard to move . Cleaned the crud off and wire brushed the small shafts ,ran right size drill bit in the holes . Works good now . Had to remove the rear wheel for better access . Bought it used 3 years ago former owner did not use 3 point much . I just started using the 3 point last fall . Oiling did not help before this . Found out the bushings are nylon or something . Took most of the day .
