Got to check the incubator . Chicks were hatching last night . Looked like a big hatch . Trying to get some grown before June . Chicks fare poorly while I am gone .

They are VERY submissive inside. They rarely poop in the house unless they are in for too long. It is definitely foreign territory.

So, yesterday it was the same temp here in Minnesota as it was in Arizona. I decided my vacation is no longer a vacation. I told my husband we should just cancel our flights and stay home. I took his blank stare as a HELL NO. Lol

Walter will be going to a new home today. I think it involves dinner. Sad since he's such a great young Rooster, but I don't have a need for him. Peace out buddy....

I hope so. I hatched the little guy back in October, so I have a soft spot for him and his brother. He's very beautiful! He came out of a dark Maran egg, so I think he may be a Blue Copper.

Here's his brother, Steve, who is a Black Copper.
