Are there any poultry shows in Minnesota other then 4H?

There is the Hutchinson show. Go to poultry show central and look in MN.

I don't think it could be 'old timers' when you write so poetically on your chicken threads.

I personally believe-- for women anyways when the placenta leaves the body after childbirth it draws with it brain cells in some fashion and we all know they cannot be reproduced. Mothers become forgetful, will leave car keys in places unknown, will put the whites in the dishwasher, and try to determine where the delicate cycle is for 5 minutes or more, forget where your parked at Walmart-- that's a killer right there--. And you can blame it on lack of sleep but then through the years getting three people ready in the morning instead if one may be a factor. Making sure there's lunch money, everybody has brushed the barnacles off their teeth, basketball socks and shoes are packed, etc, etc...


I don't know why us mothers are forgetful really.

Are you sure it isn't the little fairies (or some blame it on gremlins) just messing with you?

I lived in a VERY haunted farm house in southern WI before moving to MN....The ghosts in the house would reek havoc on me and move things....when I would get frustrated and scream, the items I lost would just show up right where I left them. True story.....

@duluthralphie you are an inspiration to me! I would have been so devastated about the losses for WAY too long (if you ask my husband) but then I am an animal loving, tree hugging, hippy! But you came right back with a bright and cheery good morning and are moving on! I have had those kind of days and do not envy you the experience

Keep your chin up...everything happens for a reason....and sometimes the reason is just that it's your turn to have a really crappy day...kinda like - "It may not be my turn to go, but I don't want to be in the plane when it's the pilots turn to go" kind of day

Must be raining up there . Lots of posts this morning . Sunny here for now . Clouds coming they say . Hi of 60 . I got eggs to ship and grass to mow . Garden to till also so I can plant some more .
