Surviving Minnesota!

Good morning chickeners . . . .
This rain does not help get that coop reconstruct done. So far I like it much better but its just a shell. It needs to be covered IF I cannot get it done today.
RALPHIE - check you phone for messages will ya? Please? I know you are sleeping alot. Just doit!

3.27" of rain and I'd say the coop stayed dry. We still have the ridge cap to do and seal up around the cupola so there is a bit of rain coming in but not too shabby.

Hello everyone!
I have been busy this week with volleyball starting on Monday. New coaches and I really like them. Varsity coach was an amazing college player, and the JV and C coach played in high school and was supposed to play in college but she got injured so she didn't.
Chuck is doing good and getting very playful.

That is looking way too good to be a coop..I would make it a guest house, that way no one stay too long, but you could act like you are really going out of your way with the rustic accommodations.

I do have plans for a future guest house to hold my antiques as well as guests. But it's gonna have to be a bit bigger than the coop ;) (I seem to have amassed a few more antiques than planned). I'm thinking it might have a similar style to the chicken coop exterior in the end.

Not too much bigger on the quest house, they may just decide to squat there for the year.:lau
