yep,,,some great babies,,,Oh my poor Buckeye boy will be so lonely without a girlfriend. Haha have you hatched any babies from him yet?
Welcome back Ralphie. Nothing like chickens and chicken poop to pop the bubble of political life.I accomplished chicken work today!!!
I loved my buckeyes. Best table birds I have ever raised and for some reason they had some much more flavor to them than my other DP birds.I have not been on for several days due to preparation and holding the Northern Lights Seminar and Auction. The event was a success and fun.
We had some conflicts with similar events in the state and Midwest, but our event and auction were well attended. The high selling bird went for $2,400.00 to a man who flew in from Maryland.
The Buckeye's have become a favorite breed for me in part due to their temperament, but they also are good meaty birds which makes them good table fare. Egg laying has been very good with mine, and they are winter hardy without comb frostbite issues.
Glad to see posts from Sir Ralphie. As I have written previously, politics is a dirty ugly business. A haven for accomplished con artists !

Al Christel told me that some of those birds sold a lot. I was gonna maybe stop by the show as there were some Pomeranian Pouters for sale but the seller told me he thought it was 2 males and a maybe. I have a few breeds left on my want list like Archangels, Modenas, Damascenes and Maybe some Voorburg Pouters.. I still have two empty buildings lol
