Surviving Minnesota!

:th

 We have green grass and wet deck. Thank goodness. Time To let out the chickens.

I will gladly concede Ed has way more snow than we got. The rain has mine almost gone except the ridges and small drifts. At the rate it is raining they will be gone in an hour.

I have a cardinal nesting in my wisteria vine . Took a long time to see who built it . So yesterday I see a broken egg on the edge of the nest . Figured she broke it getting off the nest . So today I look out to see if it was raining as the sky was so dark . Just in time to see a gray squirrel chase here off the nest to get eggs .

So with the river bottoms flooded many animals have had to move . Many get hit on the road . Yesterday a doe about 50 feet from my driveway .
