I am shocked at what she charges for chicks.

I Wish I could have gotten close to that. 80 bucks for a dozen olive eggs..

I can sell two dozen for half that price.

WHAAAAT people charge for chickens and or eggs? I have got to get with the times, I have been bartering. Mostly bartering with my sister in law.... you will get one year of unlimited eggs if you promise to be the 14 year old's responsible parent for one week during the summer. Anyone who knows this 14 year old son knows he likes to push my buttons but is an angel for his aunt.

It is all in the marketing Ralphie. As you know I do not sell, as I had my fill of dealing with customers in my prior life. If a person chooses to sell eggs or chicks one must value high profit margin over volume.
