Swap Meet - Charlotte Michigan - April 26

All I have is 2 bantam cochins that are 2 days old today that I took from under a broody. By Sat. I don't think your hen would accept them. The youngest EEs that I have are around 3 to 4 weeks old. I could bring some EE eggs to put under her.

I could bring some EE eggs

I'm worried about her giving up after a week or two; she's already been setting for 2 weeks. Finally gave her some ceramics so she wouldn't keep stealing our customers' eggs. That's why I was hoping to find some day-olds. We might get some at Family Farm or whatever if we don't figure something out by the weekend close.

Bought my supplies to build one of Miss Prissy's Chic chick bators

So, if I can get it going good before Sat I will definitely be in the market for some eggs. I will let you know before Sat. on the eggs FH. I will let you know tonight on the chicks..... I might take that silver pullet........ just can't decide

Have to laugh. I have a bantam cochin that hatched 2 sets of eggs in a row and was ready for the third batch. She was thin and one of my best hens so I put her in a rabbit hutch on wire for 4 days. She FINALLY snapped out of it and has started laying again. Want to borrow a cochin?

Shoot, I wish I knew someone near me with a good bator... I;d gladly buy eggs and split them if someone else would go through the process of hatching them. I'm so afraid I will mess it up

Good luck on the bator. If you don't want the silver it won't hurt my feelings. I was thinking of keeping her myself.

I think my daughter is interested if she isn't. She didn't seem too excited about the buffs, but she perked right up at silver. (She did agree to letting Spaghetti go.) What else might you have?

Oh ... and will they be old enough by Fair time to show? I think they have to be 4-5 months ... hmmm.

The silver is a standard EE. I thought your daughter wanted a bantam. The silver is about 8 weeks old and the oldest bantam I have is around 6 weeks.

Oh, I must have misread the post, I thought you had buff frizzles and also a silver and something else (also frizzles) ... my bad!

Babygirl will be with me on Saturday, I'll let her figure out what she wants in exchange for letting Spaghetti go to a new home.
