I think this might be my uncrested roo I'm keeping ad long as he keeps growing good and doesn't show faults.

They lay about 150-175 eggs/year. The eggs are small to med. at first, and then after they are about a year old, they are med to large. I believe the new line that GFF imported are supposed to lay XL eggs, but I don't think there are many of those out there yet.


KYT....today is day 19, the eggs r in lockdown! 8 of the 9 you sent made it to lockdown. So excited!!!!

so is anyone coming to Gilmanor swap on the 21st?

Leigh and I will be there. I have a name badge with my user name (ki4got) and will be driving white explorer with trailer and tan tent over that. (and white s'poodle)

i'll be bringing some Dorkings, sfh chicks (depending what hatches) and an assortment of others, plus my brooders for sale.

I will be coming as well. I have not decided whether to bring birds for sale or not. If I do not bring any, I will probably be working on a shopping list and lots of socializing!!
 
I will be there! I am bringing my BLRW roo for karen and the SFH roo I hatched from Wildhorseannie eggs!

Just got 8 SFH eggs from wildhorseannie for my constantly broody Astrolorp!!!

Big Bertha is so happy to have real eggs instead of a single dog chewed plastic egg!
 
Hoping the hens will begin to lay soon. I'm not sure of the age of the pullets but their combs are getting red and the cockerels have taken a liking to them. Fingers crossed it won't be long.
