Not sure depends on what is in there if anything. Just keep doing what your doing and hopefully something will work. Nothing from Vet yet?She is doing good.I tried some of the drawing salve. How long do you think that would take to work?![]()

Splinters, stickers, small cut can start it up. my one hen had a cut on the bottom of one of her toes, until she was limping I didn't know anything was wrong I have been treating her for about 3 months now and it is just about gone, using iodine on it now, I haven't had to cut thank goodness. going the more less invasive route. What causes it? Are there tell tale signs other then the swollen feet? And are there any preventatives, that can stop it from accuring in the first place?
How's it working for you Miss L? I'm hoping your results are as good as mine have been!Splinters, stickers, small cut can start it up. my one hen had a cut on the bottom of one of her toes, until she was limping I didn't know anything was wrong I have been treating her for about 3 months now and it is just about gone, using iodine on it now, I haven't had to cut thank goodness. going the more less invasive route.
I'd like to say it's completely gone but not yet, she isn't limping anymore and the swelling is gone way down. I would just as soon not cut if I don't have to, but will say after I started with the iodine I was able to pull the scab off and there was a small hole with a tiny bit of thick pus, cleaned it out and reapplied the iodine so far so good. How's it working for you Miss L? I'm hoping your results are as good as mine have been!
