Not sure depends on what is in there if anything. Just keep doing what your doing and hopefully something will work. Nothing from Vet yet? No, I should hear from them today
I just took another look at the pictures of your ducks foot. I can see 1 spot that makes me think this maybe a bumble coming up but it's just not ready to show the classic brown spot yet. Have you tried ice? Put some in a plastic bag or a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel, get her to stand on it for a bit. I doubt she's going to like it very much but it could slow the infection, if that's what this is, down a bit.
- Is it any bigger? No
- Any change at all? Not really
- Is her leg or foot hot? Yes, it is quite warm.
Something I've learned from others here on BYC and from my own bout of bumblefoot, the pus poultry gets isn't like ours. It's hard and can't be drawn out like it can be in us. Not saying your slave won't work, need to know what the active ingredient is. It may very well sink in and kill some of the bacteria and cause the scabs like you can see in my picture. How long it will take is dependant upon the ingredients in what you're using.
- When you say drawing salve, what is it? "Smile's PRID all natural drawing salve" is the name
- What is the ingredient list?Acidum Carbolicum 2x HPUS, Ichthammol 2x HPUS, Arnica Montana (Montana Flower) 3X HPUS, Calendula (Calendula Officinalis) Flower 3X HPUS, Echinacea Angustifolia (Coneflower) 3x HPUS, Sulphur 12x HPUS, Hepar Sulph 12x HPUS, Silicea 12x HPUS, Rosin, Beeswax (Apis Mellifera), Petrolatum, Stearyl Alcohol, Methyl, Propylparaben
