swollen eye, lethargic, laying rubber eggs

So we just attempted to push out pus and nothing was happening. We felt like we were doing more harm than good. When pushing on it there was no budge—think pushing into wood not solid cheese. There doesn’t seem to be an opening where anything can come out. I’m so discouraged and flustered right now.

The sinus cavities are connected to the roof of the beak, and sometimes you may see thickened pus in the choanal slit. If pus is there, sometimes you can push up there to express pus out the eye socket. I will be honest with you, that I have never had a chicken with pus in the eye socket or in the roof of the mouth. I have read that many people deal with this, and this is a method to get it out. @casportpony is a member who may be a good source to offer help.
