Hi All: I have a chicken with both feet swollen. She walks around normally, Based on other photos posted here, it appears more likely that she has bumblefeet rather than gout. I can't find any entry point to puncture on one foot (the more swollen one) and on the other foot the entry point in the middle didn't yield any kernel, when I opened it with a knife (maybe I didn't open it enuf??) Any help you can provide would be appreciated. I am soaking her feet in Epsom salts, which she enjoys.

I agree almost definitely bumble foot. Keep up with the ebsom salt. Itll reduce swelling for sure. There's loads of online remedies. I would find something there.

many thanks for the responses. I will do further research; however, everything I have read reflects that treatment is dependent on finding the scab or source of the entry wound. I can't find anything on one foot
