Tattoos

Cute pic but i would suggest to have it done larger since you don't want to compromise detail.
I currently have 15 tattoo's ranging from 1/2 sleeve, neck peices, forearm, knee, anklets, toes, fingers and a huge one about 5inches by 12 inches on my lower back.
I also do them on the side. I hate when people get small chicken scratch tatt's. Save your money and get a decent sized one that really shows of the details. That bird will require it! And being a guy you should get them bigger unless your as skinny as my brother....lol
Your place has 3rd world prices so go for it! I charge $25 a sq inch and shops charge 50-60 if they are any good. I am just starting(under a year).
Good luck and keep us posted!!!

here's some.....Most are on other computer,lol

i wish i could get a great artist that wouldn't charge as much as the normal shops around here. i paid 120 for my 3x4 inch sea horses. and they are just black. ugh. i won't have any type of money pretty soon lol.

I have a question,
I'm curious as to if a tattoo on the bottom of the foot hurts very much? Been thinking about one in a couple years for the bottom of my right foot, opinions on pain? Lol.

Quote:
I don't know about pain but the bottom of the foot is a very hard place to put a tattoo. The layer of dead skin is thick for the artist to sling the ink, I had a artist outright refuse at putting one in the palm of my hand. I think it is hard on the expensive tattoo machines to try to push through dead skin(callous).

The bottom of the human foot has more nerve endings than most areas and yes, it would hurt alot. Not trying to discourage you but I would think long and hard about haw much I really wanted it before I committed to that one

Here is the stencil used for the main part of my backpiece. There is alot more to it than just this but it is the focal point of the entire piece. I can't take a pic of my own back so I will have to get DH to do it for me when he comes home.
I only have this part outlined so far. I still have another day of outlining left to do before shading can begin.

Very cool! I like your rooster idea, I'm getting a bird, I just don't know what kind yet!!! I'm tattooed like crazy but I have them all where I can hide them

Here are the one's I have so far, and no they didn't hurt lol I get asked that every time someone see's them

The one on my side was tender, but not horrible and the two on my back I sat and talked and laughed and read magazines while they were done... Too easy, that's why I'm addicted!!!

ETA: I read through the post and I'm shocked to see that I'm not the only one in love with turtles and sea life lol!!! I caught a lot of heck about my sea turtle, but now everyone loves it! I'm adding a seahorse to my seaturtle after my next child since the seaturtle is for my daughter

My tattoos are all dedicated to my family!
