We used tin snips and a table saw!

IMO the best tool to use is diagonal cutters - electricians use them (they refer to them as"dikes"). They are easier to handle than tin snips.

YOu all are so funny! Okay, I'll don my chain mail, and try not to get myself wrapped up in the wire when it springs back at me.. and oh yeah, trust me, there was plenty of cussing involved! hehe!! I did figure out quickly to unroll it facing down so that it can't wrap me up in it. And even with my leather gloves on, I still got poked pretty good. Looks like I need to get myself my own pair of snips. Once my DH see's his dremel tool, he's going to ban me from using any of his tools!

I'm finally ready to build the run! Of course... now that the forecast is looking at it's worst... I'm ready! LOL

Update--- I bought the snips today! I cut my 1/2 inch hardware cloth with NO troubles! Thanks for the tips everyone! However... it's 33 degrees out there and I only worked on ONE side and got it finished in like 1.5 hours. Geez. And I'm half way frozen to death. Anyone want to finish for me?? hehe!! Digging the trench in the ground for the apron was probably the worst part. Sigh. Oh- and I'm not even working on the RUN yet-- I'm just under the coop installing the wire on all 3 sides of the legs (going to be part of the run). My enthusiasm is dying fast...
