crocs, and don't care how they look! I bought them with pregnant on recommendations from many moms, and have been wearing them ever since. My dh has a pair, I have 5 pairs, and my 2 year old dd has 4 pairs.

If you find ones that fit your foot good, you really don't care what they look like. They are so comfy and easy to slip on and off, its great! Specially for someone like me, that hates wearing socks and shoes of any kind!

I tried wearing my fuzzy crocs (fleece lined) to shovel the driveway last year and i fell flat on my backside...as it turns out they have no traction for the snow

my kitchen is ontop of a section of the basement that is not heated so in the winter i find if i wear a pair of my crocs while in the kitchen then my feet and legs dont ache (i have my indoor shoes just like the kids at school

Hey thats a good idea, maybe I need a pair of indoor 'crocs' too! My feet often ache after standing in the kitchen too long!

ETA: Hmmm might have to rethink shovelling snow in the crocs lol

You're right, they are kinda ugly. Thought I'd never get a pair but after spending $15 every summer for summer garden shoes at TSC that would crack by the end of the summer thought I'd try a pair fm Wal-Mart that cost $5.00. Now I'm sold on them. No cracking though I've worn them all summer and comfy.

I'd like to get a pair that doesn't have holes in them though. My feet got pretty nasty a few times changing out the chickens waterers with the way I slop things around.

I ended up buying two pair. One pair for the chicken yard and one to run everyday errands in. I try not to wear them when we go out to eat though running out for a quick burger well ....... guess I get lazy. I have seen the ones with fuzzy lining and would love a pair for the fall though I will probably just wear some heavier socks with the ones I have.

I get the $5 knock-off version at a flea market and they have ruined all other shoes for me, which now feel like tourniquets. Ugly, yes. Don't care! They wear out pretty quickly - probably because I shouldn't wear them on gravel type surfaces, but...

Long before buying them I marveled that so many people wore them, thinking they looked like they'd be hot - plastic shoes, right? - so I took an informal survey, whenever a 'croc' wearer and I found ourselves waiting on line at a store or in some other venue where I knew they had down time to answer how they felt about them if they chose to. Without exception, all were eager to sing their praises so I finally gave it a whirl

No, my coop is not the only place I wear my Crocs.

I have hard to fit feet. Crocs fit and are comfortable.

They are easy to clean and easy to take off and put on.

They are ugly but then look at your feet. Crocs are made to fit the shape of the foot. Feet aren't pointy toed.

They do get sweaty sometimes but then so do other types of shoes. Wear socks with them, it helps.

Mine are olive drab green with a blaze orange strap. If I get another pair they will be more formal, black.

Don't knock them until you've tried them.

5 pairs of "faux Crocs" here. I love them and wear them a LOT but agree they are pretty awful looking.lol
I think it's hilarious how the chickens see your foot moving inside them and try to eat your foot thru the holes. lol
