Tell me the chicken coop is the only place you wear Crocs

I have three pairs and I love them. I wear cheap garden shoes to the coop though. I wear my crocs around town, to work and to church. Yes, church. I have a black pair of the mary jane style that I wear with long skirts. I have a regular pair with holes and one pair without holes. My mom has a pair that have suede on top that are very nice with jeans. I have flat feet and the material the Crocs brand name ones are made of feels really great to stand on for long periods of time. I'd like to get a pair with leather tops and laces for more stability this fall. Heather's right, they're not good on rough terrain, at least the clog styles.

My son wore them when he was in Montessori school and needed slippers for the school day. Crocs were perfect. He could wear them without socks when it was warm and with when it was cold out. If they had a fire drill he could wear them right outside and not ruin the soles like the kids who wore leather soled slippers.
I don't let him wear them to school now because I don't think they're safe on playgrounds.
You are entitled to think my Crocs are ugly. It's not going to change my mind!

Have you been to the Crocs website? They have some that aren't open and a line of professional ones. Not that I'm trying to push the brand over another. I haven't tried the Scrubs brand. I just really like the material Crocs are made of and find it much more comfortable than the knock-offs.

the Scrubs brand has removable insert that is treated with silver for antimicrobial purposes. THe insert keeps my feet from sweating too. I saw the closed crocs but went with the Scrubs due to the insert.
BUT, for everyday wear, I like the Crocs. They feel like walking on marshmallows, lol.

Oh wow, that is cool! I don't like the sweating part either. And yes, marshmallows is a good description. My old knock-offs didn't feel like that.

Don't even get me started on Keens! We are a total Keen family. My 2yo has 2 pairs, dh has 4 pair, and I have 3 pairs. They are my favorite

I HATE them with a passion. When they first came out I was trying to understand why on earth anyone was wearing surgery shoes. When I was nursing we wore something very similar in the operating room.

I hate them almost as much as people wearing scrub shirts and pants to anywhere other than their job which requires them.

What's next? Open backed gowns that tie in the back and don't cover what they need to?

I bought the Scrubs brand at The Shoe Dept. They come in navy, black, or white.
BeardedChick, I can't find a website for them. I would be happy to take a picture of mine and post them for you if that would help.
