Is there a place on BYC where one can post their own stuff. I have other pics of construction and funny chicken videos that folks might enjoy but too much to post on this thread. Then can that site be linked so i can tell others where to find it? Thanks Magpie

Yeah, I guess so,sorry 'bout that.. But is better that folks know and can prepare. Would be terrible for anyone to loose any babies after all their hard work to get them this far. As for the rain...I guess if you live anywhere in Texas you can use the rain. Gonna put on the TV and catch weather.

thank you! I think im going to look at feed stores. I just need to be able to drop in and buy some as time will be an issue.

a lot of reports of Silkies in the mixed bantams at TSC's all over the place
might check there if you know what you are looking for not all sales people do
TSC has a 6 Chick minimum

The cold is the crazy part! I keep washing my sweaters and putting them away for next winter. Getting them out again...last week it was so cold 45 degrees and by noon it was 78. Needless to say the sweater was really hot. I was miserable

We've got rain dancing in the horizon that I can see. O hope we do and hope we don't at the same time. I'd really like to go riding.... But not get soaked in the process.

News on the home front... I guess? We've been clearing the trees like crazy this week. I've had a huge non stop fire going. The more we clear, the more fox holes and dens we find. Either we have more than the one fox, or she got very active while I was living in Dallas.

Quote of the day: She's very pretty, I like watching her and so far she's left the chickens alone. But, if she eats a chicken she dies. Bad fox. ( John is a little attached to watching her play... )
